Do you know the history about King Tut?  King Tut was only nine years old when he became a pharaoh.  King Tut also had to get married when he was nine years old.  He died when he was only eighteen years old.  People back then didn’t have time to make King Tut’s tomb.  King Tut’s tomb was very small not like the other pharaoh’s tombs that were bigger.  His tomb was so small that no one even found it until thousands of years later.

Someone entered King Tut’s tomb in 1922, his name was  Howard Carter.  He thought it was like he was entering a time machine.  It looked like robbers had been there, but bags of gold rings were on the floor like they were on a hurry.  The robbers didn’t take every thing because there was a solid gold mask of King Tut’s face that was found by Howard and his team.  All those artifacts told many archaeologists and scientists about Egyptian life.  Many people became interested in learning about ancient Egypt because of all the treasure in King Tut’s tomb.

King Tut died suddenly and mysteriously.  Some  people thought that someone murdered him because they wanted to be in charge.  The death of King Tut marked the end of Egypt’s most powerful dynasty.
