Today in math I learned how to solve this simple problem:
A desert area’s average rainfall is 12 inches a year. This year the area received 15 inches of rain. What percent of the average rainfall amount is 15 inches?
step 1) i multiply 12 and 15 and get 1.25
step 2) i will move the decimal point
step 3) And 125 will be my answer.

Hi Marco,
I am now able to see your response. First, you need to make sure you are adding the tags to the blog.
When I multiply 12 and 15, the product is 180. How did you get 120? You need to go back and rework the problem. Remember to read the problem more than once and then pull out the important info to work the problem.
