We learned about ancient Israel and Its past History. Mr. Miller taught us about the Torah and Cannan the holy land of Israelites. We took notes for about two weeks. Then we made a Scribble Map shown below. These two weeks learning about Israel were fun.
Babylon · Bethleham · Cannan · Edgar · Temple Mount
Atmosphere: During the day the atmosphere is hot because the sun heats it up. At night the sun “hides” so the temperature gets colder. The thickness of the atmosphere is kilometers. There is a lot of air on top of us. It is pushing down on us. It is most dense because of gravity.
Hydrosphere: Our motion of rivers and streams are very easy to see. Although, Lakes and ponds are a litlle bit harder to see. The characteristics of the earths oceans motion.
Geosphere: Below the crust us just like the mantle. the earths insides is like a layer of cake. the mantle consist 2 parts.
Biosphere: It is made out of all living things on earth. It extends over the Earth’s surface in a thin layer. In a few kilometers.

The Earth is made up of mainly four spheres. They are Atmosphere, Hydrosphere, Geosphere, and Biosphere. These four elements rely on each other. If our Atmoshere were to get affected by pollution and gets destroyed everything else would too.
The atmosphere is the air that we breath and the wind that blows in our faces. the atmosphere is always in motion The clouds that make rain and the weather are all atmosphere. The atmosphere is always in motion. The atmosphere has properties. One of them is temperature. The temperature warms in the day caused by the sun. The air cools at night when the sun goes down and the moon rises. Another property is pressure and density. The air closer to the surface of the air is denser caused by the gravity. The atmosphere is several kilometers thick. That is alot of air. The air puts pressure on us. When the pressure is slightly unbalanced it causes storms and big winds.
Hydrosphere
The
hydrosphere is found all around the Earth. It’s water. 70% is located all around the earth. The hydrosphere has characteristics that affect ocean’s motion. Temperature and salinity. When water is warm it tends to be lighter and it rises, while cooler water is thicker and sinks. When water is too salty it is heavier and sinks. Less salty water tends to be lighter and move to the surface. A reservoir of chemicals effect the atmosphereand energy absorbing 90% of the solar radiation which hits the surface.
Geosphere
The layers of Earth are like the layers of a cake. The layers change density, mineral composition, and thinkness in deepness. Under the crust is the mantle. The mantle has two layers. The Asthenosphere is the upper layer. It is less dense and inelastic. The mantle is the largest part of the inside of Earth. The core is surrounded by the mantle. The core is like a big ball of metal. The cake has many layers of bread just like the Earth’s inside. The parts of the cake are denser and more fragile than others.
Biosphere
The biosphere makes up all living things on earth. It contains from the smallest bacteria to the largest whales on Earth. The biosphere extends a couple of kilometers in the atmosphere to the deepest part of the oceans. “The Biosphere is a life supporting global ecosystem, where each living things depends on each other and the enviorment.”
